Sunny Scrappy Sunday!

The sun is back, WOOO!  So it is a Sunny Scrappy Sunday.  I didn’t have a lot of time to scrapbook today as it was Milah’s birthday party with her friends.  I had to cart a van full of hyper girls to Laser Quest and luckily my friend Steph saved my butt and took the rest of the crew.  I don’t know if kids are getting louder or I am just getting old but holy man it was noisy in there.

So, on my very lengthy to do list is “get my studio space sorted”.  When I do, I want to be surrounded by things that inspire me.  I pulled out a picture I took of the Eiffel Tower at night and decided to do a mini 8×8 page so I could have it out to look at it.  I didn’t want to over think it, as I have yet to do my Paris scrapbook and have been doing just that.  I believe I took the trip 4 years ago and yet all my pictures still sit on my Mac.  I attempted to start it a couple years ago but abandoned it for fear the pages weren’t special enough.  That trip meant so much to me, I just didn’t feel like I was doing it justice.  It was a trip I dreamed of doing since I was a little girl and my first trip out of the country since becoming a mom.

I am loving orange lately and the lights look orange so the background paper was a no-brainer.  I took my black ink pad to the corners to give it a bit of a distressed look.

What is Paris without bling so I added some to the center of all of the flowers.  Done, and in about 20 minutes flat.  That wasn’t too bad, but I will likely think of a million better things I could have done with it tomorrow, haha.
