It has been a while but it is Scrappy Sunday time again. I did a few Paris layouts in my new mini book that I made a few weeks ago. I incorporated the inside of the front cover into the layout as well as some of the pages from the original book that I had cut up. My first stop off the plane was L’Arc de Triomphe.
I tucked some of my boarding passes into the ribbon and clipped a photo to it with an old school paper clip.
The Champs Elysees starts right at L’Arc De Triomphe which is THE high street for labels in Paris and most of the world really. I was pretty excited because it was very close to my hotel :)
I added some princess petals from Webster’s Pages and various sized butterflies punched from old book pages that I am planning to continue throughout the entire book.
I matted a lot of my pictures with old vintage papers. Here are my pictures of the cafe I ate dinner at and the smallest car that I had ever seen which appeared to also be the smallest home I had ever seen.
I, of course, went to see the huge Louis Vuitton store. I strolled around so long I came back at night and wanted to incorporate both photos. So, I stuck card stock quality paper to the top back of the photo and put a crease in it so it would fold upwards.
I then added a little tab to the bottom right hand corner of the photo to encourage lifting :)
And underneath… Louis at night with all the impressive art work on the windows (matted in old meter reading paper).
I am enjoying remembering such a great trip and it kinda makes me want to go back and I haven’t even printed off pictures of my favourite spots. Have any of you been to Paris? What was your favourite spot?
