Scrappy Sunday – Graduation Layout

This week I decided to do Milah’s grade 6 graduation layout.  She is my oldest and as Milah gets older, there seems to be less and less milestones to document.  Not to mention she has started scrapbooking herself.  Looking at these pictures reminds me how quickly time passes.  This gorgeous tall leggy blond used to be my baby girl, my Milah Moon (which she refuses to acknowledge, haha).  Makes me proud and sad all at the same time.  Just a reminder that we should all ENJOY THE EVERY DAY!!  I am certainly trying to do that with our youngest Amelia. I do not anxiously await the next milestone as I did with Milah but I try to enjoy every stage.  Then document it through their books so we have them to look back on and remind us of the special moments.

Here is the double page spread.  I used some of my free goodies I received last weekend.

All of the circles I punched out of a 12×12 Jillibean Soup page with a circle punch.  Except for the black and white clock ones which were a stamp using the same punch.  I also took a butterfly stamp to a book page and fussy cut it out.  Both are easy and inexpensive accessories.

Both papers on this side are from the Core’dinations collection and I took sand paper to the green one.

Such a pretty girl who makes us so proud :)  The brown fabric flower is from Maya Road who was a generous sponsor at Crop & Create last weekend.

A couple of the photos were a little blurry so I printed them in black and white then just coloured Milah’s dress in to make her stand out with one of my Faber Castell PITT big brush pens (that are my absolute favourite).

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend, we are in Peterborough and having a great time!!
